Dear Sixth Graders,
I read all of your postings about Obama's inauguration. Many of you watched it and will always remember his first day as U.S. president. It was also fun to read everyone's reaction to all the snow we had in January. Some people love snow and even go snowboarding. Others hate the snow and try to stay inside. I'm a snow fan myself, and often I go skiing on my way home from school. There is an awesome place to ski halfway between Watertown and Natick, which is lucky for me!
Today I'm asking you to write about two topics. First of all, it's progress report day. Please tell me whether you are meeting your goals in school. Are you satisfied with your progress and your grades? We still have several weeks until your second report card, and I would like to know what help you might need. The second topic is to tell me what you are looking forward to doing next week during winter vacation.
Finally, it's Valentine's Day, and I hope you all have a delightful day and a wonderful week off!

ReplyDeleteDuring vacation I am going to go shopping duh!!! I am hoping the pictures of my niece come i do not know how to spell her name. So far i know she has green eyes from her mother. I thought she would get brown eyes from her father who's my brother. Also because brown eyes are dominat.
enough about her this is about me. so far i got my progress reports from science and world geography so far i got A and A on both classes but in science i got one point below what i got last time. i sure hope I get above a hundred. I am eager to see what i get in math because Mr.Wolfson told me i was improving so i am proud of what i got so far.

ReplyDeleteI am kind of satisfied with my grade well so far i have only gotten my math and science progress report.I am really happy with my math report because i got a way better grade then last time. Science progress report is fine. I would like to make improvements. well, i cant wait to get my English and and world Geo progress report.
This is what i am doing next week during winter vacation i might go to New Jersey. i will also go bowling with couple of friends. i just hope it doesn't snow over the vacation. I am probably going to the mall. Also i might go over to my sisters house.

Whooooo, vacation is almost here. I've been waiting so long. I can wake up at 12:00 A.M. , I can sleep at 11:00 P.M., anything I want !!!!! Hope you have a great Valentines Day and an awesome vacation !!

ReplyDeleteIt's progress reports day and I'm excited to get my reports back. So far I am satisfied with my grades and I am confident that I will get A's and B's!Well, I know we have a couple of weeks left for my report card and I kind of need a little help in science! Even though I got a B in science, I still want to improve and get an A! When I see a big improvement on my grades, I will be the happiest person in the whole Universe!
What I'm looking to do during our next winter vacation, is to have fun and to enjoy a long week with my best friends! I want more snow, so we could go snowboarding, sledding and skiing. I get really hyper and excited when it's vacation time. I'm looking forward to Valentine's Day with my family! I will give lots of hugs and kisses to my family! For Vacation I'm going snowboading again. I'm going to my friend house and maybe sleep over. I will play around with my ipod touch and get new apps for it. Thats what I'm doing for vacation.

ReplyDeleteI had fun reading your February has arrived and I am having a little disappointed about my math grade. Because on my last progress report I got an b+ now i got a C but thats ok I know I will improve.
During my break i was hoping I can go over my cousin's house and help her with the baby.

to hope I'll get an A for most subjects.At school,I had an A for ELD and science.I was very excited.Maybe at the end of the term.I'll go to world geography class.I'm satisfied about my grades.Yay!!!~~~~~~~~~~~~(I think you're happy too about my grade)=)And,I hope several weeks later,my report card will be better than last time.:)
About my spring vacation week,I'm enthusiastic.Because we're planning to go to ice skating in Park St. At President's Day,the library won't open.I'll call to Shih Hung and play in his new house.I've never called him when
